Little Murcia
Collblanc is the third urban nucleus of L’Hospitalet. In the middle ages, this area was divided geographically by the mountainous area, known as Samontà, which corresponds to the present-day Collblanc; the area of the river’s delta, known as Marina, and, in the middle, the territory of Provençana.

La plaça del Mercat and its surrounding areas are the vital centres of the district. The market of Collblanc, on the carrer d’Occident, 1, was designed by Puig i Gairalt, creator also of the Joventut Theater of L’Hospitalet. Next to the market is the library of Josep Janés, dedicated to this poet and editor born in the district. In the reformed parc de la Marquesa, on the Collblamc Rd. with the intersection of the Corts, several different fairs take place, such the one dedicated to diversity in June, or the one devoted to handicrafts, in October.
