Clotum Mellis (Honey’s Concavity)
In the medieval period, the area which is now known as the Clot was called Clotum Melis, as it was a deep-cultivation area where a very high quality honey was elaborated and sold in Barcelona. Back then, the Clot was predominately rural area, with farms and country estates.
