TELEFËRICO DE MONTJUÏC

From this point you can take the Aeri del Port, a cable railway that carries to Montjuïc, doing a journey that offers beautiful views of the city. Close to the Institut de Ciències del Mar, in the Moll dels Pescadors of the harbor, there is the old lighthouse of the harbor, which is known as Torre del Rellotge and it was built in 1772 and turned into a clock in 1904.

It is also called Castell Nou o del Borni and it is located on the top of an hill. We have accounts of this castle from 1204 and it has been renovated in many occasions. It has a gothic style and it is of public use from 1992. It manages the Museum Palau Mercader and the exhibitions hall of Cornellà Castle. It is currently the venue for the Arxiu històric and the Fundaciò Utopia.
