For a good travel

There are many theories about the name of the district of Hospitalet: Bellvitge. According to one of these, the name could come from the expression bell viatge (have a good travel), used by the travellers when they passed here and they invoked the Virgin of a close hermitage, as she could grant them a good travel or to avoid the river Llobregat bursted its bank. PARC DE BELLVITGE Av. Corts Catalanes, This park was opened in 1998. Its vegetation creates a nice atmosphere of privacy that isolates from the surroundings.    THE HERMITAGE OF BELLVITGE This hermitage is in the park of Bellvitge and it was restored in 1717 in barocco style, even though it has some elements of XI century, like the romanic apse or the gothic bell tower.
