The author of the catalan grammar
The name Badalona comes from Baétulo, a name that dates from the third century BC, when it was founded by the Romans. However, human remains have been found more than 5000 years ago that makes us think it was a place chosen since Neolithic times. Pompeu Fabra i Poch was born in the small town of Gràcia in 1868 and was the smallest of twelve brothers. It is known worldwide as the author of the modern standards of Catalan language.
