A esta estación de metro el nombre le viene dado por la calle Comte d’Urgell.
Jaime de Urgell, hijo de Pedro II de Urgell y Margarita de Montferrat, nació en Balaguer en 1380. Fue conocido con el sobrenombre de el Desdichado y fue el último conde de Urgell, título que heredó de su padre. También ostentó los títulos de vizconde de Áger y de barón de Alcolea de Cinca y de Fraga.

This station takes its name from the Count of Urgell Street. James the Second of Urgell, son of Peter the Second of Urgell and of Daisy de Montferrat, was born in Balaguer in the year 1380. Known as The Unfortunate, he was to be the last Count of Urgell, title that he inherited from his father. He was also named Viscount of Àger and Lord of Alcolea of Cinca and Fraga.

A aquesta estació de metro el nom li és degut pel carrer Comte d’Urgell. Jaume d’Urgell, fill de Pere II d’Urgell i Margarita de Montferrat, va néixer a Balaguer l’any 1380. Va ser conegut amb el sobrenom de dissortat (desventurat) i va ser l’últim comte d’Urgell, títol que va heretar del seu pare. També va ostentar els títols de vescomte d’Àger i de baró d’Acolea de Cinca i de Fraga.

Свое имя эта станция получила от улицы Компте д’Уржель. Жауме д’Уржель, сын Педро II и Маргариты де Монтферрат, родился в Балагере в 1380 году. В народе был прозван Несчастливым и был последним графом Уржелья — титул, унаследованный от отца. Также обладал званием виконта Ажера и барона Альколеи-де-Синка и Фраги.
