Sant Roc was born in Montpellier in the late 13th century, he made pilgrimages around the world and he devoted most of his life to cure the plague victims. A legend has it that Saint Roque arrived in Barcelona to treat those suffering from an outbreak of plague that infested the city; But he also went flying to get sick and to avoid the danger he could infect other people, he was thrown out from the house where he was staying. It is said that A dog felt pity for him and licking his wound it cured him.

f you go along Avenida Maresme towards the sea we arrive at Tres chimeneas (Three Chimneys) of Sant Adrià de Besòs, who belonged to the ancient thermal power plant of Fecsa-Endesa, at the mouth of the river Besò. They have become a symbol of this district. Recently, it was approved the project for the transformation of this energy facility in central and in social and cultural structures. Near the chimneys, there is the shoreline Park near the beach. Every Tuesday, there is a market under the motorway bridge Barcelona-Mataró, where you will find everything and more…

El barri de Sant Roc es va construir el 1962 per a reallotjar als col·lectius de les barriades de xaboles de Barcelona, a las famílies perjudicades per les riades d’aquell any i a les afectades per les expropiacions a causa de la construcció de l’autopista de Mataró.

Anant per l’avinguda del Maresme en direcció cap al mar s’arriba fins a les Tres xemeneies de Sant Adrià de Besòs, que pertanyien a l’antiga central tèrmica que Fecsa-Endesa tenia a la desembocadura del riu Besòs i que han esdevingut un dels símbols d’aquest municipi. Recentment, s’ha acordat el projecte de reconversió d’aquesta central tèrmica en un centre d’interpretació de l’energia i en equipaments culturals i socials. A tocar de les xemeneies, hi ha el parc del Litoral al costat de la platja. Cada dimarts, sota el pont de l’autopista Barcelona-Mataró s’hi instal·la un mercat ambulant on trobareu de tot i més.

San Roque (Sant Roc, in catalano) nacque a Montpellier alla fine del XIII secolo, fece pellegrinaggi in tutto il mondo e dedicò la maggior parte della sua vita a curare i malati di peste. Una leggenda narra che San Roque arrivò a Barcellona per curare i malati di un’epidemia di peste che infestò la città; ma anche lui finí per ammalarsi e per pericolo che contagiasse anche altre persone, lo cacciarono dalla casa dove alloggiava. Si dice che un cane compatì il santo e leccandogli le ferite lo curò.

Andando lungo l’Avenida Maresme in direzione del mare si arriva alle Tre ciminiere di Sant Adrià de Besòs, che appartenevano all’antica centrale termica che Fecsa-Endesa aveva alla foce del fiume Besòs e che sono diventate un simbolo di questa circoscrizione. Recentemente è stato approvato il progetto per la trasformazione di questa centrale in un centro d’interpretazione dell’energia e in strutture sociali e culturali. Ciminiere, c’è il parco del Litorale vicino alla spiaggia. Tutti i martedì, sotto il ponte dell’autostrada Barcelona-Mataró, c’è un mercatino dove troverete di tutto e di più.

Святой Рох родился в Монпелье в конце XIII века, странстовал по всему миру и посвятил практически всю жизнь уходу за больными чумой. Согласно преданию, с этой же целью он прибыл и в Барселону. Однако, когда в конце-концов он сам заболел чумой, из страха заразиться его изгнали из дома, где он гостил. Предание гласит, к нему пришла собака и зализала раны, которые вскоре излечились.

Если вы пройдётесь по всему проспекту Марезме по направлению к морю, вы дойдёте до Трёх дымоходов квартала Сан-Адриа-де-Бесос, в прошлом принадлежавших одной теплоэлектростанции, которой владела энергетическая компания “Феска-Эндеса” и которая находилась на устье реки Бесос. Эти три дымохода считаются символом муниципалитета. Недавно был принят проект о перестройке этой теплоэлектростанции в центр получения и передачи энергии и в культурные и общественные учреждения. Очень близко от дымоходов находится парк Литораль и пляж. По вторникам, под мостом трассы Барселона-Матаро устраивается небольшой рынок, где вы найдёте всё, что угодно.
