A place (not only) for students
As indicated by this area’s name, there are plenty of schools in this part of the city. In the old days, here there was the end of Bederrida, a stretch of fields and vineyards between Sarrià and Les Corts.
In October 1957, the Faculty of Pharmacy was the first building to be inaugurated, as well as the Faculty of Law the following year and also many sports areas. The most recent constructions are the buildings Nexus I and Nexus II, situated in the North Campus of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, which will have its very own stop with the new Line 9 of the metro.
