Hay varias teorías sobre el origen del nombre de este barrio de L’Hospitalet: Bellvitge.
Una de ellas apunta que podría venir de la expresión bell viatge, fórmula que usaban los viajeros cuando pasaban por esta zona, invocando a la virgen que había en una ermita cercana, para que les concediera un «bello viaje» o, tal vez, para evitar el frecuente peligro de desbordamiento del río Llobregat. Esta ermita del siglo X estaba rodeada de una zona de campos de cultivo de regadío muy productivos y tiene su propia leyenda…

There are many theories about the name of the district of Hospitalet: Bellvitge. Hi ha varies teoríes sobre l’origen del nom d’aquest barri de L’Hospitalet: Bellvitge.
Una d’elles apunta que podria venir de l’expressió bell viatge, fórmula que utilitzaven els viatgers quan passaven per aquesta zona, invocant a la verge que hi havia en una ermita propera, per què els concedís un «bell viatge» o, potser, per evitar el freqüent perill de desbordament del riu Llobregat.
Aquesta ermita del segle X estava rodejada d’una zona de camps de cultiu i de regadiu molt productius i té la seva pròpia llegenda…

Ci sono molte teorie sull’origine di Bellvitge, nome di questo quartiere dell’Hospitalet. Una in particolare sostiene che il quartiere deve il suo nome all’espressione Bell viatge usata dai viaggiatori che passavano per questa zona e che invocavano la Vergine di un eremo lì vicino, affinché le concedesse un «bel viaggio» o, probabilmente, anche per evitare che ancora una volta il fiume Llobregat straripasse. L’eremo del X secolo era circondato da una zona coltivata e irrigabile molto produttiva ed esiste una leggenda…

Существует несколько теорий о происхождении названия района Бельвидже, находящегося в Оспиталете. Согласно одной из них, он назван в честь выражения “bell viatge” (хорошее путешествие) — выражение, которое использовали путешественники, оказавшись в этом месте. Так они обращались к Богородице, находившейся в ските неподалёку, чтобы она даровала им “счастливый путь” или не допустила опасного разлива реки Льобрегат, происходящего довольно часто. Этот небольшой монастырь X века был окружён очень плодотворными орошаемыми посёвами и имеет собственную легенду…
