Esta estación la comparten los vecinos del barrio de Artigues de Badalona y los del municipio de Sant Adrià de Besós. En cuanto al barrio de Artigues, parece ser que el topónimo es la forma normalizada en catalán del apellido del promotor de origen chileno Francesc Artigas i Solà, que urbanizó esta zona a principios del s. XX. El nombre de Sant Adrià de Besòs, por otro lado, nace por una antigua iglesia parroquial dedicada a san Adrián que había en el extremo norte del municipio.

¡LA FIESTA MAYOR! Las fiestas mayores de Sant Adrià se celebran alrededor del 8 de Septiembre, festividad de San Adrián. Las de Artigues son a finales de Julio, y en este caso, la estación de metro en la que estamos, queda en el epicentro de la fiesta, así que… ¡ya lo sabéis!

В этом районе смешались как жители квартала Артигес-де-Бадалона, так и населяющие город Сан-Адриа-де-Бесос. Что касается топонима Артигес, скорее всего он происходит от адаптированной в каталанском фамилии пионера из Чили Францеска Артигас-и-Сола, который застроил эту зону в начале XX века. Сан-Адриа-де-Бесос, в свою очередь, получил своё название от древней приходской церкви Святого Адриана, которая находилась на севере муниципалитета.
