This is a municipal civic center. Despite being known as Can Pepus, the name of this modernist style house is Antoni Ileal and it was renovated in 1923 by Joan Amigó. 

Close to the metro station, in the street of Güell i Ferrer, there is theTorner market, which is a work of 1924 by Josep Fradera y Botey. In Pep Ventura square we find the Casa Agustí, work of the modernist architect Domènech i Montaner of 1823. In the paseo Maritimo, the old factory CACE is being reforming in order to to become the future home of the Museo del Cómic y la Ilustración de Catalunya. And if you come down to the beach, you will find the Bridge of Petróleo, a pier supported by pillars of 6 m. It was built to unload petroleum products by tankervessels. As of 2009, when it was transformed into a public space, citizens driving along this bridge can go for 250 m to the sea.

Founded in 1868 by Bosch,it has become one of the world’s most famous brands of anise. The visit of the factory allows to know the craft production system employed for more than 130 years.  What stands out for its modernist style is the Hall of distillation, the archive and the editorial office. It is necessary to book the visit in advance.
